Case costs

Out-of-pocket expenses required to investigate and litigate a case, separate from the attorney's fee.

Case costs are the actual expenses incurred to build a case. Filing fees, deposition transcripts, expert witness fees, medical records requests, court reporter fees, postage, copies. They're separate from the attorney's contingency fee.

On contingency PI cases, the firm typically advances the costs and is reimbursed from the recovery. If there is no recovery, in most cases the costs are absorbed by the firm and the client owes nothing.

We itemize and explain every cost before the case closes. No costs are taken without documentation.
